The Clearing Online is a digital sanctuary for spiritual fugitives: people who have not abandoned faith but have outgrown the containers that once held it.

It is a co-curated, post-Christian formation space inspired by the hush harbor tradition — mystical, contemplative, interfaith, intergenerational, inter-ethnic, queer-affirming, and rooted in Black and womanist spiritual traditions.

We serve people who have been pushed out of institutional religion, walked away from it, or are building lives of faith beyond it — especially Black, Brown, queer, and spiritually curious people seeking liberative community.

The community gathers online twice each month. Gatherings may include grounding, embodied practice, teaching, conversation, contemplation, music, journaling, and communal reflection. The larger ecosystem also includes local experiences, spiritual accompaniment, retreats, and embodied pilgrimages.
